WARNING

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PHYSICALLY MODIFY OR ALTER THE SUSPENSION UNITS. Doing so will void the warranty and may create damage to the suspension units.

Installation or exchange of this suspension kit must be done in compliance with your vehicle’s repair manual. We strongly recommend that installation be performed by a licensed expert.

We recommend that after the initial installation, the vehicle be reinspected to ensure all fittings are re-tensioned and wheel alignment is correct, as the suspension will settle in, ride height may vary and if so, alignment may have changed.

Check the OEM nuts and bolts of the automobile before reusing them, if the vehicle manufacturer recommends replacing them, please adhere to this recommendation, If the suspension Nuts? Bolts are “torque to yield” then they must be replaced with new items when changing the suspension. If corrosion or severe wear is obvious, make sure to exchange new OEM bolts and nuts before installing the Starr Performance suspension kit.

Bolts and nuts should be tightened according to the vehicle manufacturer's specified torque when installed. If installed with insufficient tightness, the bolt/nut may loosen gradually and may cause accidents as a result of the bolts or nuts falling off. Also, we recommend rechecking the tightness as needed during the break–in period.

When driving on general public roads, the lowest height of the vehicle from the ground must be adjusted to a range within that specified by local law enforcement.

The ride height must be adjusted by using the lower mount, and NOT the spring perch. The spring must be preloaded 10-15mm, meaning that it must be secure with no play against the spring perch. Failure to preload springs will result in reduced ride quality and possibly damage to the suspension unit.
